June 2007 - The Lugger festival

The festival is held every year with sailing boats of all sizes descending upon Looe en mass.

Unfortunately - as I was helping Ella with the breakfast I missed the departure of some of the bigger boats, but here is a taster

So what is a Lugger?  I hear you ask.  Well a lugger is a small sailing vessel with two or more masts - and sets sails known as lug sails and lug topsails.
